All Tecno Seats of FB Design boats have been developed through the experience achieved in offshore racing, endurance racing and long distance record breaking.
The first motivation of a suspension system derives from the simple consideration that it is useless to have a boat capable of 70 knots if the driver cannot cope with the strong vertical accelerations generated by waves at high speed. Accelerations can reach levels of over 15G at the moment of impact.
Step by step FB Design has developed a full range of suspension system seats, which have always been carefully tested in very rough conditions for long periods of time.

TECNO SINGLE |

The Tecno Single Seat is easily fixed to the
deck via an aluminium base and it is bolted
laterally through a single point.
Its round and ergonomic shape allows easy
cleaning combined with minimum maintenance
and both the structure and vinyl covering are
available in different colours.
All mechanical elements of the seats are
made from aluminium. The up and down
seat adjustments are operated through an
electrical switch and this allows the seat to
be configured for a standing, seated or any
intermediate position. Additional comfort
is guaranteed by an integrated suspension
system.

TECNO DOUBLE |
|

The Tecno Twin Seat derives from the Tecno
Single Seat concept. This version is selfsupporting,
is bolted directly to the cockpit
floor and does not require additional lateral
fixing.

TECNO G10 |
|
|
Tecno G10 is the top seat of FB DESIGN range.
Designed for accelerations up to 10 Gs, it has been developed for safe and comfortable driving in rough waters.
These modular seats are controlled by an electric actuator, which allows easy variable support by the simple push of a button.
The driver and the crew can choose between
a seated, a standing or any intermediate
position, choosing the best weight distribution between legs and bottom, but always well protected by a four points safety belts system.
Extreme comfort is given by a suspension based on two deformable parallelograms with shock absorbers and springs adjustable to the
three different positions.
Safety belts are strongly recommended only in combination with a canopy and offer the possibility of sleeping during navigation.

TECNOMOTO |
|
|
The Tecno Moto is a new seat concept designed
for special forces and suitable for the transport
of many people in limited space.
Tecno Moto is a modular seat built around a
pipe, which creates the structure, and special
columns carrying each seat and the front seat
spring and shock absorber. Below each seat
there is a fixing place for a Pelican waterproof
box.
Tecno Moto seats are generally installed in
two or three rows staggered side by side to
avoid possible shoulder contact.
