HISTORY / CURRENT RACING BOATS

Probably the most famous boat designed by Fabio_Buzzi is CESA 1882.

Completely restored, this glorious monohull is again racing with the dress of Red FPT.

Red FPT won the Cowes - Torquay - Cowes 2008 race in 2h 18' 5' at an average speed of 91 mph.

The "Gran_Argentina", for three times Superboat World Champion and universally acknowledged as the fastest monohull in the world, is still racing, now with the name of Silicon Fire.

Silicon Fire arrived second in the the Cowes - Torquay - Cowes 2008 race, after Cesa 1882.

Hydroplane "3 PUNTI"

With this incredible sophisticated Lycoming gas turbine power hydroplane, Fabio_Buzzi repetitively broke the world speed diesel record in 1992 and became the first European pilot to have pushed a boat beyond 250 km/h!

This hydroplane is the winner of the Pavia Venezia race in 2001 and 2004 with an outstanding average speed of over 197 km/h.

FB 48' STAB KERAKOLL

Kerakoll is the FB_48'_STAB driven by the Italian pilot Mario Invernizzi.

Kerakoll was originally powered with 2 Isotta Fraschini 1306 of 800 Hp each. It competed succesfully in the P1 World Championship 2006.

Kerakoll is now refitted with 2 FPT C90 of 650 Hp each. It arrived second at the Cowes-Torquay-Cowes race 2010 after Red FPT.

FB 48' STAB WETTPUNKT

The Austrian pilot Hannes Bohinc commissioned a new boat to FB Design for 2006, a FB_STAB_48' , to race in the P1 World Championship.

The boat is powered by twin Isotta Fraschini engines and generating 1800 hp.

The FB 48' STAB dominated the 10 day Round Britain Race in 2008, securing five outright wins from 8 races, yet engine problems on the first and final leg ruined to any chance of an outright victory.

RIB 39' SF WETTPUNKT

During 2009, Hannes Bohinc also debuted the new ‘Wettpunkt.com', an FB_39'_RIB pleasure boat, at the Cowes-Torquay-Cowes event. Leading with just one-and-a-half miles to go, a ruptured fuel tank forced the team's retirement.
