MIAMI-NASSAU-MIAMI

The Miami-Nassau-Miami is probably the most famous offshore track, thanks to many years of intensive racing. The last of those Races was won in 1988 by Fabio_Buzzi on the 50’ “Gancia_dei_Gancia” in very heavy sea. But the Record on that distance was settled by Tom Gentry in 1989, with his Transatlantic Challenger and again beated by Fabio_Buzzi and Mark Nemschoff at an average speed of 84.23 knots in 1999.
