FB 42' poker Run is a high-performance boat based on a V-multistepped hull, tested in competitions at speed over 100 mph, in very rough waters. It has won a series of important events, amongst which WORLD CHAMPION Super Vee in USA in 1997. FB 42' is basically a narrow beam boat, for better rough water performances.The central tunnel of the tail bottom keeps the boat planning even very low speed and allows the stern stair buiding.
THE HULL
The 42’ is the most famed hull produced by FB Design.
Originally built in 1989, this boat has won two U.I.M. World Championships and two APBA.
From this hull, many different versions have been developed and the “Poker Run” is the one dedicated to high performance pleasure use, Poker Run races, endurance and records.
STRUCTURE
The 42’ “Poker Run” is a well structured boat, where safety is the major input, based on the experience of Offshore Racing.
The construction is 100% with Kevlar fabrics, vynilester resin and balsa core, with five composite longitudinals. The lower capsule of the 42’ “Poker Run” is an high-tech epoxy/Kevlar structure, studied in order to resist to any type of water pressure generated by a failure of the front of the boat, while a lexan low windshield protects the crew from water sprays.

Seats are anatomic and eventually on demand also shock dampered .
THROTTLES
Throttles are placed on the central console.
